seen winter either. Isn't this an amazingly long

                      WINTER

               to join the earth.

        Snow Bunting flocks swirl

            land on open prairie

         strip seeds from grasses

          before taking to the air.

           Snowy Owls invade

              from parts north

     seeking preferred food, but

will settle for any small creature

                 that

                                                 moves.
