Lake Superior Snowfall
In the stillness -
a raven calls.
Early morning
snowflakes descend
gently.
Arms interlock to
knit networks of
jewel-lace
blankets.
Slight
puffs of air
pilfer
myriads of
connections.
Crystalline hush
of snowflakes melt
seamlessly into
leaden lake.
Stillness merges
with quiet moments
of unity.
